CONTAMINANDO SONRISAS
Contaminando Sonrisas is a non-profit social circus association created in 2015. Its essence is to bring doses of smiles to people affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters, as well as to people who are at risk or vulnerable as a result of the injustices of the system.
We use the circus as an intervention tool and a common thread in our projects.
BREDA CIRCUS DAY
The Breda Circus Day is a social circus festival created in 2015 directly linked to the Contaminating Smiles association.
A day and a half with professional and amateur shows, premiered or in creation, and surrounded by food trucks as well as craft stalls and various workshops.
The shows are "pay what you wish" and the artists, as well as the profits from the various stalls at the festival, go to the association to be able to carry out future expeditions and/or social interventions through the circus.
MIMAA FESTIVAL
(Les Planes d'Hostoles)
The MIMAA Festival, located in Les Planes d'Hostoles (La Garrotxa), is a professional performing arts festival that wants to emphasize CARING for and valuing these arts at all levels.
It does not focus on any specific discipline; programming is born from what we have seen and what has remained etched in our retinas and hearts.
We firmly believe that the arts move, break, build and open new paradigms and bridges between and within people, as well as offer a space to dream, where everything is possible, and they do so, very commonly in public spaces, with all the diversity of people who want to experience it, without exception and, above all, without exclusion.
MIMAA is a dream that we are making a reality.
